iPhone training for beginners is being run this Wednesday in Hornsby – see below for details.
It’s Spring, so spring cleaning time again. All computers (PC’s, Mac’s, iPhones etc) need regular maintenance to keep them running quickly and safe from viruses etc. If you haven’t been visited for 6 months or more, now is the time to book it in. I can do multiple devices at one time on site, thus saving you money.
Assuming a computer is well serviced, the easiest way to get more speed out of it is to upgrade the RAM memory. For the month of October, with any on-site service, I will fit more RAM at no cost, just pay for the RAM. Deal also available if you drop in your computer to me.
I have lots of recycled equipment on hand at the moment, if you are looking for a recycled desktop, laptop, screen or whatever, let me know and I will see what I can offer you. Good prices guaranteed.
As we rely more on ubiquitous wireless access around our homes, I find that I am installing a lot of extra Wireless Access Points and upgrading Wireless Routers – nothing is more frustrating than wireless not working where you need it. Call me to discuss your additional wireless coverage needs. Wireless products like routers are being upgraded by the manufacturers regularly, if you router is more then a couple of years old, a simple replacement to a new one is very likely to increase your coverage.
Upgrade your skills in a fun learning environment. This term sees me running many more courses at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Community College. Specifically, ‘I Learn iPhone’ (for people with first iPhone and would like to use for more than just calls and text) Laptop Maintenance 101 (bring along own laptop and learn all about maintaining it, curing viruses etc) and Computer Essentials (based on Windows 7)
Lately, I have been doing a lot of Audio Visual and TV work, i.e. wall mounting TVs and setting up Surround Sound systems for my clients. It’s a nice change for me from doing computers all the time – but in fact the TV’s and Stereos are increasingly integrated with the Internet and music distribution systems, so all good fun for me
